Wassup pluggers Interview - Plug TV (2007-11-27)
http://www.youmake.tv/users/plugrepl...43&category=25
Alizée comes on about 10 minutes in. Some interesting questions, such as about a tour (think she says yes, but nothing set yet). Download coming soon. Edit: Quote:
Another version to download from alizeebest, 90MB WMV... I'm not sure if it's just a re-encode of the flash or mp4 version, or sourced from somewhere better: http://rapidshare.com/files/72652675...l.com.rar.html Last edited by Ben; 11-27-2007 at 10:34 AM.. |

Nice video, thanks Snatcher!
I think the first part is a searching competition on yellow pages, is that right? The super yellow girls were hot. Alizée looks beautiful in this vid. I'll wait for a translation.

Here's a translation, but it's likely inaccurate because there was no transcription to work from.
Host: I'm proud to announce that our guest today is none other than Mademoiselle Alizée! How are you doing? Alizée: Hi, I'm doing well, thank you. H: What do you think of the studio? A: Genius. I love the decoration. (laughs) H: So, Alizée, we haven't seen you in a long time, about four years. What was going on during that time? A: Well, I took one year off for me, as a break from the stress of recording and touring. After that, it was two to three years of working on the new album. H: And why so long? A: I produced the album myself, so I had to choose everything from A to Z just as I wanted it to be. H: And you had a baby girl, right? A: Yes, that too. I took my time doing everything, and had to contact all the people who I wanted to work with, and convince them to work with me. It took three years by the time I was done. H: So that does take time. So, Psychédélices, tell me about it. A: Psychédélices was planned very slowly, a mix of different styles, the styles that I love the most. I would say that everything is pop, with influences of rock, electronic, urban and jazz. It's a little universe of music. H: So, how is your new album different from your others? A: It's different because it's more me. It's an evolution, as I've grown and I've changed. H: There's of course the question of your old Lolita image and all that. Have you completely tossed that? A: During the time that I didn't produce my own music, I was playing a role that wasn't too much of me. I don't regret it; I'm very proud and happy with what I've accomplished. However, now that I'm my own producer, I have taken an image that resembles me better. H: We've now heard your single on the radio, seen you on TV (laughs), with Mademoiselle Juilette. Why did you choose Shakespeare for this? A: I chose it because it's a classic story of love that everybody knows, a little tragic, but also it's also like me. Juliette is just a young girl who wants to have fun with her friends, and there goes Romeo (laughs). H: So could we see a clip of it now? A: Of course! --Clip of MJ plays-- H: Wow, that's a great video, but I have a question for you about it. (I don't really get what goes on here, the question may be something about a girlfriend) H: Okay. What's next, a promotion? Are you preparing a tour for yourself? A: I think so, I think that there will be a tour in early 2008. I don't know exactly when, but after completing an album I'm a bit exhausted. It's just too much for the head to do a tour right away. But I would like to sing for the public. H: Are you going to come here, to Belgium? A: Of course! (The host makes fun of Alizée, I think) A: I would first want to do a national tour in France, but I'd like to tour in other countries as well. H: Merci Alizée!

Thanks Snatcher and espire. Sounds like her schedule is going to get only more intense. I thought she'd start touring somewhere towards the 4th quater of 2008 once all the singles have been released.

Personnally, I feel she'll get her head together first quarter 2008 and maybe the French tour might be 2nd or 3rd quarter 2008. That's just my hunch, of course.

Well, I'm personally hoping for somewhere later in 2008, otherwise my chances of seeing her in concert look dimmer and dimmer the earlier it starts, unless of course there's a US appearance.

Espire, it was hard for me to follow what they were saying, but I definitely heard her say "au revoir Romeo" and then laugh, so "Romeo shows up" is not correct. Exactly what she was getting at here I don't know, though.
