Gorillaz & Alizée ?

On Alizée's MySpace, there are a number of friends listed that worked with her on the album, like Bertrand Burgalat, Oxmo Puccino, Michel-Yves Kochmann, and Jean Fauque. However, the Gorillaz are also linked on the front page of her MySpace. Could it be possible that she's collaborated on a song with them? I think that would be sweet.

I don't know they have not told us much about the other songs

Snap, I never thought of that. That would be tite. I mainly just figured she liked em. But that rumor would be sweet if it was true.

Yeah, I was interested by their presense on her clearly hand-selected top 12. My guess would be that she is a fan of them, but there are so many people who have and/or do work in or with Gorrillaz, it's entirely possible she has a connection with at least one of them.

Her new style is rather close to them. Of course the lead singer of the Gorillaz is Blur's Damon Albarn. Blur made some great songs like Girls & Boys. With the Gorillaz, he's responsible for songs like Feel Good Inc. (which has a great video, inspired by the style of Hayao Miyazaki) and DARE.

I think it would be totally awesome if she collaborated with them... I can just imagine the video clip: Alizée superimposed into the cartoon world of the Gorillaz...

Whoah, you're totally right, Madonna did collaborate with the Gorillaz. Didn't Alizée say in the NRJ interview that it remains her dream to collaborate with Madonna??? Perhaps she has actually done it and we just don't know about it yet.

Well, I guess this is all pure speculation, but it's fun

I don't have an opinion on them I like some of their stuff dislike other stuff of theirs so it really comes down to how the end product comes out

Even if you dislike them, just imagine what her collaborating with them would mean for her popularity in the English-speaking world...
