basically just like it is now, but the text is more to the left and there is less red than there is blue. I like using hot and cool colors together like that, and keeping "Alizee" in the red coloring (and making less red than blue) makes it look more important.

i like it, it is simple and very nice
Will do, and thanks

is it even necessary to put the url for the website on it? it would look better without it i think .. but maybe it should be on there?
I'll make one without it, but I can tell you that it is going to look off-balanced with it gone. It's not hard to take it off, so when I make the changes above I'll try this too.

One last thing, the image of alizee looks a little blurry, if you use the scale tool in photoshop instead the resize, it will make a better smaller version of the image.
From my last post: "BTW: the image in the banner isn't quite optimized to be shrunk, so there is a lot of aliasing in it right now. I'll take that out when I have some time "

EDIT: I should probably explain what that means.. For one, there are 3 white reflections in one eye, and two in the other - when the photo is shrunk the difference is amplified and makes the eyes look very odd. The black lines (hair, clothes etc.) need to be blurred before it is shrunk otherwise you get the lines stepping (like stairs instead of a diagonal line - this is what aliasing is).

Don't make any decisions yet though, I'm sure there will be many more ideas from people in the next day or so.

i have better quality versions of that image if you want it, i think they are all in the AF gallery though. this may sound insane, but I wouldn't mind seeing some versions without an image of Alizee on it .. lol

also .. don't feel bound to that image, even though i love it, her eyes are amazing in it. i have almost changed it several times now. i really like the picture that in my avatar, i have thought about putting it up on the main page.

The image im using is the one you have in your gallery on this site. It's more than high enough quality for the output size

Without Alizée? Well, the craziest ideas are usually the most creative...

I wanted to make the banner look like the main page. I have no issues changing it later on if you decide to change the main page (assuming alizee-mexico will change it also). I could try some other ones too - too many ideas, not nearly enough time...

I like the idea of reflecting the image of the main page also. That being said, I'd be up for seeing other options too.

Just looking at their "enlaces" section shows the majority of the banners are 353 x 60 pixels. The only exception appears to be the AF banner at 353 x 90 pixels.

Okay, here's my novice attempt.

Alizée America (706 x 120 pixels)

Same as the above but at the reduced size for the Alizée-Mexico site's banner (which kind of sucks as far as image quality versus the original):
Alizée America (353 x 60 pixels)

If people like, then I'll put the 706 x 120 up on ImageShack and you can resize/scale to your liking.
