I'm sorry, I didn't mean a big delay, I just figured if the record companies won't be open until August 15th, it may take a little time after that to get things rolling.

Almost the entire country goes on vacation in August. They have planned on this, which may explain the date being in the latter part of August to begin with.

As Deepwaters said, one probably shouldn't count on this particular bit of info from Tinkalizée anyway. According to our previous announcement which we have been treating as “official”, she already signed with a subsidiary of Universal and would schedule a press conference or press release soon.

If this post from Tinkalizée is accurate, maybe it predates our "official" post.

I'm the first to admit I don't know French, but I read it differently. It looks to me like, "...the album is at risk of changing record companies once again. Therefore, no decision has been made for a press conference for the moment."

I believe "maison de disque" means record company. Am I wrong?
