Intro Music

Welcome and bienvenue to the Alizée America Podcast, dedicated to the one and only, Alizée.

You can find us online at alizeeamerica.com/podcast and iTunes.

Hello all you Alizée fanatics. How are you? Are you having a good day today? I sure hope so. If not maybe this’ll help cheer you up. Wouldn’t that be obnoxious if I talked like that the whole time? This is your host, Ciara and I’m not really that nice, but thanks for listening to the sixth show of the Alizée America Podcast, this little thing that I started some time ago with no expertise at all, or talent for that matter. So my apologies. I can’t believe it’s already the middle of June just about. Sheesh. I experimented with the intro there, hopefully that wasn’t too confusing, but I’ve been listening to a real really awesome podcast and they did something similar so I’d thought I’d mix up the order a bit. In this episode you’re gonna hear, fun with hard-to-pronounce names in “Le Mot de Moi.” Then Snatcher42 will give you the rundown in L-town with “LiliNews.” After that in “Getting to Know You,” you’re gonna learn about a lovely member of the forums, who I’m sure you all adore, Amélie. Following that, I’ll be giving my thoughts on whatever threads I deem worthy in “Latest Discussions.” Finally, in this podcast, well, I wanted to include a segment that was gonna be a little different but for technical and alcohol-related difficulties it didn’t fly, so now since I’ve run out of time I’m just going to include a segment called “Other Musical Interests” which is inspired by, yet not necessarily related to, the thread of the same name. First up is “Le Mot de Moi.”

“Le Mot de Moi”

You know what’s hard to do when recording these podcasts is trying to drink coffee with a microphone in your face….ah. But yeah, the sixth show, uh, you can count the number of shows on 2 hands now! That’s pretty exciting…if you like to count. When you’re counting and you get to six do you stick out your pointer finger for six or your thumb, because I use my pointer but my brother uses his thumb, so I was wondering which one of us was the weird one. I mean, obviously it’s him, but he’s better at math than me, so maybe he knows something I don’t but, I digress. To nothing. Because I have no topic for this. I don’t even know what I’m gonna be talking about for the rest of the time. Except, uh, for having this many podcasts on this subject, you know, the person that these podcasts are dedicated to , I still think I’m pronouncing her name wrong, not to mention all the other French words I can’t say, so I don’t even know what to say anymore. If I change up the pronunciation each time then just deal with it, I’m experimenting. I mean, I think I stress the “ah” like in Ah-lizee too much, because I think in the Moscow Rambler thing she actually says more of an A-lizee so if I can just go A-lizee instead of Ah-lizee, I think I’ll be good…are those even different? I have no idea. So, sorry for getting your name wrong all these times, Alizée. Does that one work, did I say that one right? Maybe I should just take that sound clip of her saying her own name and insert it every time I have to say it in the podcast.

My name is hard to pronounce, too, though. I seriously have only one memory of a teacher pronouncing my name right the first time they called roll in class. And this wasn’t until I was in college. Like, last semester. Most people will either say Ci-are-a, Sara, or for some reason they’ll get Clara out of it, like if the i isn’t dotted or something. Actually, all four years in high school at state track when they were announcing who the runners were before a race, I’d hear over the intercom: “And from Willow Springs, Clara Crawford.” Because the head coach didn’t dot his i’s when he turned in the paperwork and Clara seemed like the easier choice I guess, even though l’s are taller than i’s. Dumb announcers. Needless to say that became a running joke, ba dum ch. And more recently, I became friends with my friend Stacie and met her and obviously was like “Hi, I’m Ciara,” not like that, I’m not that jovial, so it was verbal and there was no mistake of her reading my name wrong. But the next couple times we hung out she called me Ci-are-a and I thought, that’s weird, but I just thought it was funny so I didn’t correct her. But then it kept happening, until she heard someone else say my name and so she asked me what was correct, and I told her, but we had become pretty good friends by then, and Ci-are-a kind of grew on me, so that’s what she calls me now, and it’s like a nickname, so that’s fun. But when she says Ci-are-a referring to me to our mutual friends they just think she’s retarded or something.

And so yeah, I have no idea if anyone online knew how to pronounce my name before I said it here, even though it’s more main-stream now since that singer or whoever came along. Actually, I had only met one other person with my name when I was about 17 and she was maybe 12, and it was one of the most amazing experiences ever, at least for me. Ok, this time it was a cross-country thing, and I had to work a junior high meet. A girl walked up to my table to register and I’m like “first name?” and she replied “Ciara.” I’m like “No way! That’s MY name! How do you spell it?” “C.i.a.r.a.” “No way! That’s how I spell it!” Cuz you know, most people use S, or two r’s or whatnot. Then I’m like “last name?” and she says “Swofford.” I’m again like “No WAY, that rhymes with MY last name!” And I was totally amazed, while she just looked at me less than amused. It’s unfortunately getting more common now, so she couldn’t appreciate that moment like I could, having been the only Ciara I ever knew for years and years. But then last summer, I worked at a store in Norfolk, Virginia and I honestly met at least 10 little girls named Ciara, it was insane.

I guess that’s enough from me this time, next up is “LiliNews” with Snatcher42.

“LiliNews”

Hi everyone. Podcast six, “LiliNews” five. I'll cut right to the chase because it's a scorching, humid 95 degrees here in New York today, and I gotta turn the air conditioner off to record this so you don't hear it over the microphone. So I'm on a strict time limit before I melt. Anyway here's the news for the week of June 9th.

I ended our installment last week mentioning these posters that have appeared in Paris and other French cities advertising psychedeclips.com. And now that site is active. And what will you find there you ask? Well the main attraction are three clips, count 'em three, for “Fifty Sixty.” There's the original music video that most of us have now seen. It's been on YouTube and other websites, incidentally it's finally airing on French TV, they've taken enough time for that. But there are two new clips as well. There's one for the David Rubato remix, and this is a very interesting, dark, sort of creepy, eerie, spooky clip featuring Alizée riding a bicycle through a strange forest. And there's a bonfire, it's sort of Lynchian or maybe some Dario Argento thrown in there, I don't know, you go to the site and check it out. And the third and final clip is for the Rolf Honey remix, and well Alizée isn't in this version at all. It actually features Julien from lilly-town.com, one of Alizée's best fans, and he's going around Paris, he goes in a night club, he meets some other fans, some stuff happens there, again I'll let you discover it for yourself. In addition to the three videos, this site has a section called Lilly Town TV, where you can go and submit your own video clips or remix files of the song. There's nothing up there yet, but hey submit something and maybe you'll be on Alizée's official website next. We can't let Julien have all the fun, now can we?

Now if there's one problem with this site, it's that the three video clips are still in crappy flash video format. When are we going to get some high quality stuff? Well I can give you one answer, and that will be when the special edition of Psychédélices is released in Mexico. We don't have an exact date yet, but this is going to be a CD and DVD set, and the DVD will include the three “Fifty Sixty” music videos, as well as the music video for “Mademoiselle Juliette” and the four-part diary of Alizée's trip to Mexico this past March. The CD has a number of bonus tracks in addition to all the normal songs from Psychédélices. We have the new version of “La Isla Bonita” going to be on there, and three “Fifty Sixty” remixes: the Rolf Honey remix, the Datsu remix, and the Edana vs Tiborg remix. Now the question is will this edition be released in time to be sold at her concerts in Mexico next week? Boy they're coming up. Well we'll be able to tell you by our next podcast because by then the concerts will already be over - time flies! So to review those dates, remember: June 17th and 18th in Mexico City, June 20th in Guadalajara, 21st in Puebla, and June 25th in Monterrey. Everyone's really eager to see if these concerts are as different as promised to the one she held in Moscow.

I'm sure we'll have a lot to say about that for the next podcast. There isn't much left for this one though. On June 5th Alizée performed “Mademoiselle Juliette” and “Fifty Sixty” at the NRJ Music Tour in Geneva. That hasn't been shown on French TV yet, but it should be soon. And on June 6th she gave a very energetic performance of “Mademoiselle Juliette” at the Chanson de l'année on TF1, apparently listen to some of critics from the Moscow concert because this was an energy filled performance. And on the same show she also got to sing “L'amitié” with the cast from Les Enfoirés 2008. There's also some backstage interviews and other good stuff, as always you can find the videos of this on our forum. Well that's about it, now if you'll excuse me I gotta go turn this air conditioner back on before I die. Thanks as always for listening, and now back to Ciara who has the rest of podcast number six.

Thanks, Ben. I think I speak for everyone when I say you do an awesome job and we really appreciate your contributions to these podcasts. And I’m totally jealous that you live in New York. I have a feeling it’s my kinda town.

This week’s “Getting to Know You” interview features Amélie. I wanted to interview Amélie for two reasons. 1. It was about time to get a girl on here, and 2. She’s on Alizée America, but she’s from Lithuania! How cool is that?! I will once again be reading the interview, so sorry to everyone, we won’t get to hear what I assume to be an adorable Lithuanian accent.

“Getting to Know You”

What's your name, how old are you, and where are you from?

My real name is, oh god, sorry if I mess this up, Ausrine Aureja Amelija. I am from Lithuania, from the second biggest town here-Kaunas. It's very beautiful and worth seeing except the people. People in Lithuania are pretty cold. But when you meet them, when you get to know them, most of them are really cool and crazy in the good way! I am 16 years old, I was born 1992 03 31. This date is always the beginning of that beautiful spring and mostly, when it's my birthday, they are the first days after the cold winter, so it makes me feel special and fresh always!

So your user name is different from your real name, what does it mean?

Amélie. Good question. I have like millions of explanations for this nickname. Just this name shows my personality the best, at first, because it is the French version of my third name-Amelija, so that's the biggest part of me. Another part is that my favorite, my soul movie, is about Amélie Poulain. Another reason is that my favorite writer's name is Amélie Nothomb, and another reason is that Alizée recorded and sang a song "Amélie M'a Dit" which was written by my idol-Mylène Farmer. Also, a few months ago I found a test, which was made a few years ago when I hadn't seen that movie about Amélie Poulain and haven't been a fan of Mylène and Alizée. This test was about to find out, which character from the movie you are and all my answers went to "Amélie Poulain.” I was shocked and excited when I saw that. I couldn't believe that, I have been Amélie for so long!

Does living in Europe give you greater access to being an Alizée fan than most of us here? Do you get to take advantage of your geography?

No, actually, I don't see almost any difference. Alizée and all the other French singers are not popular at all here, I feel unique choosing as my idols Mylène Farmer and Alizée and not, for example, Jennifer Lopez or Rihanna. But it is maybe easier to go to their concerts! And it's just...I think that if a person calls himself/herself a fan, he must act like a fan and it does not depend on where you live.

How do you deal with the language barriers between Lithuanian, French, AND English?!

You can hardly find any information about Alizée or Mylène in Lithuanian, so, two years ago, when I became a fan of Mylène, my English was pretty bad indeed and I started to browse sites and forums in English and write a little bit. How it was hard at the beginning! But little by little, I improved very much! When I was pretty satisfied with my English, I thought that I MUST learn French, it was for my existence! So, here goes, a year ago, I started to study French, all alone, without any teacher, nothing. I bought one book called "French in 30 days" so I was studying it about...3 months  INCLUDEPICTURE "http://moi-alizee.us/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif" \* MERGEFORMATINET  INCLUDEPICTURE "http://moi-alizee.us/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif" \* MERGEFORMATINET  then I decided to start to visit French forums. It was also very difficult at the beginning, but now these difficulties are soooo much smaller, it's a real happiness to hear my love Mylène's gorgeus voice and understand what she is saying! The same thing goes for Alizée.

From what I've read on the forums, and from what you’ve already said, it looks like you're also a huge Mylène Farmer fan. Did she lead you to discovering Alizée or was it the other way around (tell us when and how you discovered Alizée and/or Mylène)?

Yes, I am the biggest fan of Mylène Farmer! She definitely led me to discovering Alizée...but mainly she led me to being interested in Alizée when I found out that Mymy was her producer with Boubou (I’m guessing that’s Laurent Boutonnat). I’ve known Mylène for about...8 or 9 years and Alizée since maybe 2003, but wasn't really interested in them since two years ago when I saw Mymy's concert Mylenium Tour. She left me completely breathless and until today I can't find something more amazing than Mylène and I am sure that I never will. So, I got interested in Alizée too but became a fan of her only some months later...

What led you to joining Alizee America? Are you more active on any other forums?

Very funny, my brother became a fan of Mylène then too and got interested in Alizée as well. So, he was browsing the internet and told me that he found a cool site with many many videos of Lili. I watched them all and was very happy. But my English then was very bad so I dared to join the forums only some months later. It is my first Lili forum and now in only this forum I am pretty active. I am a member also of other forums about her, but not active anymore. I still go only to this one, it's deep in my heart.

We’ve seen a lot of pictures of you in the member’s picture thread. What's it like knowing so many American guys think you're gorgeous?  INCLUDEPICTURE "http://moi-alizee.us/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif" \* MERGEFORMATINET

To be honest, it is something that I can't find the words to describe. It is just a really magical feeling, which gives you wings and cheers you up a lot. There is no other forum where I can feel...so loved like here. I appreciate it very very much!

As many of us have seen, you are a very talented designer! Tell us about the creations you share with us on the site (your signatures and bookmarks and the like).

Thank you and, well, what can I say...I found more talents of mine when I discovered Mylène, my tour with Photoshop also started two years ago and it's just, I can't stop doing it! It's like a drug, it's my passion! It is the biggest fun, you pick a photo of your idol, who looks perfect to you and when you are making a creation, you can go so deep inside of the image, of the face, the body, to put something of you inside to the person that you adore so much...to make it like a combination of yourself and that celebrity, it's like spiritual, you can unite your feelings, fantasies and images! It's like meditation to me.

Do you have any other talents or hobbies we may not know about that you'd like to share?

Well, I also adore writing, I have written two books (but pretty childish, you know...) and I am writing a third one. I also have a great idea for the fourth one. And I write song lyrics. I used to post them here in the forums, but stopped. Also, I had a dream once to be a film director. It's because I am very interested in creating scenes, all the details, each movement of the face, of the camera etc...And I adore dancing, totally, I've learned “J'en ai marre”, “J'ai Pas Vingt Ans”, also some dances of Mylène Farmer: “Sans Contrefaçon”, “C'est une Belle Journée”, “Q.I”...it's my passion, dancing helps me to fly out from everything that overwhelms me sometimes. And anyways, I adore being on the stage, I adore singing, I couldn't ever stop singing. I have even recorded two songs. One is Alizée's “L'alizé.” And one very old talent: drawing. It is probably my biggest talent and I cherish it very much. It's great to be able to create the Universes by your own hand and a pencil!

What has your reaction been to Alizée's return to the music scene?

Well, at first I was very excited and happy but after all...I think that this, her big wish to be herself, made her...made her so different and so...she makes a big effort to show how she didn't like her older periods, her beginning, when, in my opinion, she sang, danced etc much much better than now...personally, I don't like so much this new period-Psychédélices. And I actually found out my reason. I think that I was actually a bigger fan of Mylène behind Alizée and when I discovered this new Lili, she shocked me, I couldn't believe that she is so not in my style of music and everything! But I got used to that now, I listen to her songs as well and watch her videos and collect her photos and make creations with her but something about her has changed in me, I am not so passionate about Lili anymore.

What is your favorite song by Alizée?

Well, it's obviously “Moi...Lolita” and everything that is from Gourmandises and the MCE periods. But from this period I adore the song “Par Les Paupières”, it has the biggest meaning to me and it is SO beautiful.

I couldn’t agree more. What is the most ridiculous thing you've ever read on the forums?

One guy, totally insane about Lili, he said that his life is sh...[my insert: shadoobie] because he could never be with Alizée, that he is always sad because Lili is not with him, not his woman. That's even more crazy than I am about Mylène  INCLUDEPICTURE "http://moi-alizee.us/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif" \* MERGEFORMATINET

Thanks for answering all my questions, Amélie, and good luck with all your creative endeavors. I’m sure you’ll be famous one day. Next up is “Latest Discussions.”

“Latest Discussions”

All right, Snatcher42 has already mentioned what I wanted to talk about again, but I get my ideas before I receive the news, so I guess our mind grapes come from the same stem or something. Mind grapes?…30Rock?…anybody? Ok…These are the latest discussions since about June 1st, 2008.

1. Alizée on TF1 "La Chanson de L'année"

On June 6th Alizée performed live on "La Chanson de L'année”, I guess that’s a show where people can call in and vote for their favorite song of the year that’s performed on that show, someone correct me if I’m wrong. I watched the video that Snatcher42 embedded, so thanks for that, and to everyone who submits links and downloads and things for all these performances, you make our lives easier, but I’m lazy so I still only watch what’s in front of me. So, it looks like she performed “L'amitie” from Les Enfoires 2008 with a group of other singers from that benefit and it sounded great. Now, these French music shows use lip-synching for just about everything, which as most of us know, would never work here, at least not if you get caught, then you’re screwed. But I’m pretty sure this song was actually sung live. It’s a beautiful song and featured Alizée as a main singer in the original recording so it fits that she’s here, especially since she’s singing MJ anyway. But I think this performance in particular gained a lot of attention on the forum, because Alizée looked stunning here. A major complaint by people since her return has been that she wears “pregnancy dresses” and they don’t like it. And well, I’m not gonna go into my rant about how they aren’t pregnancy dresses, you’ve probably heard that enough, but they aren’t pregnancy dresses, but the dress she wore definitely gave people something to talk about, and in a good way. You’d think that being a girl, I would judge her more for what she wears, “Like, oh my God, can you believe what she was wearing, so tacky…” but no, I’m not like that at all, and I’m actually like “Oh my God, can you believe what she was wearing, how cool is that?” But in contrast, it’s the guys who haven’t liked what she’s worn and talk about how she should wear her clothes and whatnot. But anyway, everyone got their wish here, as she wore a breathtaking white, above the knee, ever so slightly revealing v-neck that accentuated her waistline and was that very elegant all around. Needless to say, she looked the best up there, even compared to the two other young female French singers, Lorie and Jenifer. I’ve listened to them for comparison purposes, and as they can belt a little more than Alizée and are good singers in their own right, they’re still just not as appealing to me, I think it’s mainly their type of music, but still our girl’s got them beat. I thought it was cute too, though, how up there you could tell how Alizée and Jenifer are friends, probably with Lorie too, but she wasn’t standing beside them. And, uh, who was that taller guy in the middle? By the time he had that little solo thing, uh, he reminded me of like that special cousin you have to let play with you even though he’s fallen off the jungle gym one too many times. Is that too harsh? Mmmmmm….

On to “Mademoiselle Juliette.” This was in the actual competition and of course this was lip-synched, but that’s what they do, who cares. Holy ‘beeeeep’ did she rock! She was dancing, she was strutting, she was skipping, she was working the crowd…and she looked great again. This time she was in a black v-neck empire dress, sporting a too cool for school leather jacket on top, and her favorite footwear, sneakers, these being green high-top Nikes. I’m more of a New Balance person myself. But yeah, I think it worked, and definitely helped her running around on stage. This was definitely her spunky side coming out, and what an inspiring performance, especially with the Mexico concerts coming up next week. Holy cow! After this and the performances on Acoustic recently as well, I think everyone is getting really excited for her. I sure am. It’s just a shame I can’t see her anytime soon. Anyway, back to the show, it was a competition and there are conflicting views on the thread about what she ranked, and as long as something hasn’t been posted since I looked at it again, I went to TF1’s website and to moi, it looks like she ranked 9th out of 20, I’ll put a link in the transcript if you’d like to check that out, but yeah, congrats on that! (http://lachaine.tf1.fr/lachaine/divertissement/lachansondelannee/classement/)

2. Fifty Sixty - David Rubato Remix Video

Finally, the “Fifty Sixty” trilogy has come to be and is viewable at Psychedeclips.com. I’m not really a fan of remixes, and when I heard this one in particular on her MySpace I just cringed and had to turn it off immediately. So I didn’t like this version, and when I saw that it was going to have this video I wasn’t too sure about that. And then when I first saw the video, I wasn’t too sure about that either. It was dark, Alizée looked different (my first thought was, when did she have bangs? but then when I could actually tell what I was looking at it was apparent it was a wig), and I just didn’t get it. But I’ve come to the conclusion that this remix is definitely better with the video, and after listening and watching it a few times, both are easier to appreciate now. I’ve come to like the little nuances in the song, like the guy whispering the chorus, and like the bass sound or whatever, I don’t know instruments…but yeah, it’s been growing on me, even though it’s still not really my type of sound. And I guess from some of the other discussions the video itself surely has some meaning behind it in regards to the actual lyrical content that I’m not aware of, but even without knowing what it’s supposed to be about, I definitely can appreciate that it’s experimental, and I’m open-minded enough to not completely write it off. This is definitely a darker, arty side of Alizée, did you see that mascara! *whistles* On a side note I’m personally horrible at putting on mascara, I always just look like I’ve been punched in the eyes.

So I don’t know, I say give it a chance, even if it’s not your cup of tea, maybe it’ll grow on you. I had this clever line that I was going to use, well, what I thought was clever, but when I read back over the thread I saw that someone else had already said this, but I guess I have permission to use it. Domo arigato, David Rubato, for helping us escape into a world where Alizée can ride scooters in the dark amidst lightning and a random flame pit while singing really, really slowly.

3. How Many Girls are on this Forum

Not enough? Um, this thread was created a long time ago, but recently came back in the picture. I guess you internet people call that necro-posting or something, but since I’m a girl it caught my attention. It’s funny, it’s not until like the 5th page that any actual girls posted that they were girls, it was just guys being guys calling each other girls (and you might be interested to know that Nurvonic is actually a girl), but anyway, it seems like you’re on top of things and were able to list off all the newer, active gals around so I didn’t even have to. So, from your guys’ count there are eleven girls that seem to be active, at least. Looks like Alizée is on that list, but I’m not sure she counts…..But, hey, if you’re a girl, or a woman, like some of us, and you’re not listed, post there cuz it’d be really interesting to see if there’s more of us lady fans. Not fans of ladies, but ladies who are fans.

4. Alizée America is 2

That’s right, this website is now in its terrible twos. This beloved site was created by Brad two years ago in June of ‘06, so I just wanted to say briefly, Happy Birth-month Alizée America and thanks to Brad and everyone for making this such a fun and inviting place for Alizée fans.

That’s it for the latest discussions. Now it’s time for “Other Musical Interests.” Since this is sort of an emergency segment, I’ll keep it short, but, I’m not gonna talk about stuff in the actual thread or anything, because I don’t want to talk about music I don’t like, but I also don’t plan to subject my other musical interests onto you, because you could probably care less about ABBA or musicals, so this is actually going to be about just some other French songs I found on YouTube that I like that might be worth a listen.

Music

“Other Musical Interests”

I’m sure some of you know who Carla Bruni is, but if you don’t she’s a former model/singer-songwriter/wife of the president of France, so there’s some controversy around her, but I love her music so who cares? It’s folk-y and bluesy, and she has a raspy kind of voice if you like that, like I do early in the morning and late at night, and I’m totally jealous of her long guitar-playing fingers. So the songs I really like if you haven’t heard them are “Quelqu'un m'a dit”, “L’amour”, and “Le Toi du Moi” which is a really fun one. If you find the right videos, I think all three have the lyrics posted so you can follow along, so go check those out.

Another French singer I like I actually found on Alizée’s MySpace when her top friends section was huge a couple months ago, and that’s Soko. She’s this young bohemian type singer with really quirky songs, and she actually sings entirely in English as far as I can tell, but if you’re open-minded and like weird things, you might like her. The songs I like by her are “I will never love you more,” and “I’ll kill her” as she says. She also has a whole bunch on her MySpace that I think are pretty fun so give those a listen as well.

Finally, this is a song in particular that I just found when looking up names that I knew through Alizée and her various appearances over the years. It features a duet by Pascal Obispo and Natasha St. Pier, two really popular singers over there. Of course, Alizée has appeared with Pascal in Les Enfoires “merci Pascal” and she did an awesome duet with Natasha St. Pier on TV a couple years ago, which incidentally, I think was a song by Pascal. So, this song is sort of hard to for me to describe  b/c it’s not something I’d usually like even with American music. It deals with a dark theme, but is also a cheesy, feel-good pop song at the same time, but I’m a sucker for harmony and they’re pretty awesome at it. It’s called “Mourir Demain,” and one video you might find has the French lyrics, and then another has English subtitles. On a side note, I also found a performance they did together I’m assuming from the same Madonna concert thing where Alizée sang “La Isla Bonita” and they sang “Frozen” which is one of my favorite newer-ish Madonna singles.

So, those are some other musical interests, if you care.

That’s gonna wrap it up for this episode of the Alizée America Podcast. Boy was this a hard one to get done, you don’t even know! Before I say my goodbyes, I’d just like to tell Alizée, good luck in Mexico and enjoy the guacamole. But seriously, I know the concerts are going to rock, and I hope you have an amazing time. Thanks to Brad for hosting the show at Alizée America and to Ben for the news. I’d like to welcome our newest member, Arshad, bienvenue to you, and all the other new members since the last podcast. You can find the music used in this podcast by the Sinistrals and the Stephen Davis Project at PodSafeAudio.com. Thanks so much for listening and have a Youpidou day… what does that even mean???
