hi
well, indians don't need to speak english because they already got their own languages, you should know this if you live there
there's a huge eurocopter plant there and I had to work with local engineers
they spoke a very poor english and we had to hire traductors even if we asked for ppl who spoke a fluent english
european engineers who have to work there learn some hindii if they stay more than 6 months
about paris, nothing surprising, it's pretty unsafe; especially in the metro
a friend of mine had to defend a woman who was agressed by a black, they guy had a knife but my friend broke his arm on an angle of a seat and then the passengers caught him, they called the police at the next metro station
the most surprising thing is that before the fight they didn't do anything even if they saw that the baboon was agressing the woman
a bunch of cowards, really
another friend killed two arabs there, he was judged and spent 5 years in a jail
sad day for the guys who attacked him, they probably didn"t know many corsicans have guns
cheers

Dude that is the dumbest thing I've heard....
The British were in India for 400+ years, gave us our current education system, etc and you think we can revert back to how it was initially! Thats dumb, even retarded!
Dreamer is right about you....

hi
dreamer lives in germany, and everybody speaks the same language there, german
he doesn't know anything about countries where ppl speak different languages like corsica or india
therefore his opinion does not really matter
again I worked with indians, and those weren't average ppl but engineers, meaning ppl who studied, got diplomas etc... and their english was very poor, those are fact
I suppose I was specially unlucky because there are 400 millions ppl who speak english fluently there and the ones I had to work with only spoke a basic english
believe me eurocopter wouldn't hire traductors if those indian engineers spoke a fluent english
hiring a traductor is about 400€/day or more, and hindii/english or hindii/french are pretty difficult to find
cheers

ajaccio corsica, how is it that you always know so much more about places you don't live?

I'm not claiming to be an expert like you and I have never been to India, but I do know that a lot of US jobs are outsourced to India. Many of them are customer service related. So much so, that it's kind of a joke here that if you call for help you will get either a computer or an Indian. And they speak to us in english. They may not speak it on the streets, but I do believe that there is a significant portion of the population that can fluently speak english.

He doesn't, he just pretends.

BTW: One of my childhood friends was from India and he and his family spoke english fluently. And no, I'm not making this up.
