Free image for use on Wikipedia

The image currently being used at the top of the Alizée article on Wikipedia will probably will probably be deleted in the near future because Wikipedia policies dictate that we can't use fair use images if a free alternative could be created. I was wondering if anyone on this forum has any images of Alizée to which they own the copyright which they would be able to release for use on Wikipedia. The image would have to be released under a free license like a Creative Commons license. Thanks in advance!

What implications, if any, does this have for Alizée America (pic at the top of the main page). Brad?

I don't understand. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that a promo pic and therefore "no free equivalent is available or could be created that would adequately give the same information" that is specific to the current pic being used?

If anything, could one of her album cover pic be used if Wiki still says the current pic falls outside their policy?

What about this statement:
"However, if the subject of the photograph still exists, a freely-licensed photograph could be taken."

Again, isn't a promo pic considered "freely-licensed?"

In the past promotional images were considered to be OK under Wikipedia's fair use guidelines. However, it's now been decided that if the article is about a living person, then promotional images are not OK, since a free alternative could be created. That's why I was hoping someone here has an image of Alizée they took themselves (at a concert or something) that they would be willing to allow for use on Wikipedia.

The old image has now been deleted, so for the moment, there is no image at the top.

If I had a personal pic of me w/ Alizée, I'd prolly rather not have it on Wiki. But that's just me.
