As the original was obviously made by professionals, I don't think it need any color correction.

The mysterious stirring of Tinkerbell adoption?
This is the most-read thread using "Tinkerbell" in its title, which is why I am posting the following here.
Did you ever wonder how Tinkerbell became Alizée's mascot? It remains a mystery to the public, but consider the hint offered by the video below, made during her tween years, in which she performs the France Gall song Papillon de Nuit (It is difficult to distinguish moths and butterflies, but because nearly all moths are nocturnal, the French term for "moth' is "night butterfly," the name of the song at issue. Many find the English word rather ugly, as it is a cognate of "maggot," the larval stage of insects.)

This performance was part of Alizée's training at the celebrated dance, song and theater school founded and run by Monique Mufraggi in Ajaccio. The school continues to train youngsters, whose year of study climaxes in a grand Gala each June. Let me now treat you to a sample video below from a year ago, in which the students improvise and create choreography in small groups during the workshops that take place during spring break.

The Web site of the venerable three-decade-old school is: http://www.ecole-du-spectacle.com/ Facebook hosts its official fan club at: http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=306729317546 It is not possible for outsiders to visit the school, but the annual Gala more than makes up for this! The poster for this year's Gala appears immediately below. As you know, Corsica is a prime vacation spot for Europeans during the warm months of the year. If one day you find yourself wanting to go there as wekkl, you might consider timing your stay to make it possible to attend and enjoy the Gala. Much of a decade ago, the school published a CD album of songs composed by Corsican and other French artists and largely performed by the students of the school. Called Avant Premiere (loosely "Coming Attractions"), I hope it can soon again be made available for purchase. Alizée fans would especially enjoy this unique memoir of artistic life at the school barely after Alizée's departure for professional acclaim. |

Uh, I believe Tinkerbell became a "mascot" for Alizée because Tinkerbell's her favorite Disney character? Pretty simple reason eh?
