Default Is Alizee popular in France?

Is she popular there? Do you hear people talking about her release? Or do they not even care since she's been gone for such a long time...

How big is she compared to the biggest, say someone like Mylene Farmer.. how popular is she?

Well... I'm not in France, but if you look at all the presales and such, jumping to something like rank 32 in all of Amazon Music briefly, and popping up on TV show schedules... that's France. We folks elsewhere in the world aren't enough to make a dent in those charts, or make TV worth their while.

To be honest, she really hasn't been "out of the news" in France so much as it feels like from a musical perspective. Long after her tour ended and we stopped getting new music or performances, she was still in the tabloids and music 'zines... first getting married, then pregnant, then being a mom, and fairly quickly in to "come back happening." It feels like it has taken its sweet time, but I dunno that she ever dropped off the radar completely.

Hmm. Let's see... is this right:

"I think that the Alizee-Mania goes retaking with the releases that she goes to do?" Help! I would love to hear a french perspective, but I don't understand it that well!!

Edit: Maybe he means "I think that Alizee Mania will happen with the releases that she's going to do." Better???

(No, I understand, and you are probably right that the mania will resume when the rhythm of the comeback accelerates.

But I don't believe there is anything to worry about. She will come back HUGE, I can feel it, like a hurricane just offshore, like an earthquake about to happen. I am sure.)

Thanks French Fan. Good to get the perspective of somebody who's actually there and isn't talking out of their butt like me :-P

You're welcome
Il semble en tout cas que la promotion d'Alizée est belle et bien lancée puisqu'à partir de mercredi 14 novembre les émissions devraient s'enchaîner

I wish you could understand cooney because hard to say in english

To MesGourmandises I said " I think that the AlizéeMania will arrive again with all the shows that she's going to do"
bof bof = so so (? unsure in english)

So, You're saying:

"Est alizee populaire en France?"
"Bof bof.."

That would be:

"Is alizee popular in France?"
"Somewhat".

That's a good translation.
