Upcoming things to look out for are the Grand Journal apperance tomorrow, the France Gall one maybe next week (French fans are saying it will be on the 21st, not the 28th, which would also explain why Le Grand Journal is happening a week earlier than on the plan), and the MJ video showing up sometime between the two. Did you figure out what "en AVP via un rdv hebomadaire" means?
I'm guessing that "hebdomadaire" is "weekly", and "rdv" is "rendezvous", and Google translated "rdv hebdomadaire" as a "weekly appointment". So I guess the real puzzle is what "AVP" is. It must be some sort of media (presumably Internet) outlet where they could have these sorts of "revealings" on a weekly basis? It must be somehow parallel as a media outlet to MySpace, AOL, MSN, etc. |

Here's an explanation of yacast:
http://www.yacast.fr/uk/diffint.html YACAST has developed its own unique technology which enables it to offer media companies an efficient and profitable model to stream data on the internet. This allows terrestrial radio stations to add related information to their audio programmes. Such related data can be music related (CD cover pictures and images), commercial (banners associated with the commercials on the air, automatic insert and deletion of commercials) and hypertext links to stations' online services. The french radio stations currently using YACAST's services represent over 70% of the terrestrial radio audience. YACAST offers a new and interactive dimension to traditional media, providing substantial added value. Snatcher, isn't that gonna bust the ol' wallet? You were gonna save up for Strasbourg, no? Well maybe you can find some last LAST minute deals and boogie on over there. If you worked for an airline, this would be more practical. I once met some people on a plane who were going to Amsterdam for, like, a day trip, because it was a direct flight from their Detroit home and they worked for Northwest. They knew the daily schedules by heart. They said one time they flew to China, stayed for like 12 hours to take a day trip to the Great Wall, and went home. Getting a flight doesn't seem to be an issue just yet. Taking a look online, prices and availability seem fairly consistent baring around the holidays. Last edited by Ben; 11-14-2007 at 03:29 AM.. |
