Alien Landscape (Music)
Was rummaging through some old files and came across this piece of music I made years ago. Still really like it, so thought I'd share. Made it by mixing samples, while interning at a TV station in New York that had a pretty good library of loops. So, no instruments played. It's short, 1:43. Hope you enjoy!
The concept is that an astronaut is landing on a distant planet untouched by man. As he moves away from his capsule, familiar Earth sounds (piano, guitar, orchestra) are replaced by synthesized textures representing the alien world. There's a sense of excitement, but also that of stillness and of isolation.

Nice! I used to kill a lot of time making beats and songs on FL Studio and burning them to CDs for friends. I think i still have those CDs somewhere...
