All the newest Powerbooks and MacBook Pros (laptops for Macs) have a “Sudden Motion Sensor” for the hard drive. This is there to stop the disk from spinning if the computer senses that it is being dropped. This is done to attempt to save your data. But, what fun is a feature that you can only use when something goes wrong? Thats where these freewares and other programs come in play... Like there's a program that uses this 'motion sensor' in laptops to apply an alarm that goes on when activated and the laptop detects movement. Not only does it activates an alarm, but also disables the computer by activating a password protected feature. Cool ha...
