I have never played 3.0 or 3.5, I have only played 1st and 4th. So I am not to sure really, my DM told me that 4th is a lot less rule heavy. I guess they tried to simplify it to make it more accessible, not to sure. Also how would you play a D&D game on a forum, without rolling dice, just do role-playing? The person who asked how to play D&D, it's basically a person called the Dungeon Master tells a story and you tell him what you want to do during it, then you roll certain dice to see if you are successful in the action. It gets more in-depth but that is just very brief idea of what you do while you play. Anyway sorry for the off-topic.
Once I read the next chapter I will post my thoughts, little busy right now with just time enough to post.
