I know it has been discussed here, but has it been confirmed at all? (sorry to go off topic).

google translation of the voici article linked:

The new album from Alizée Psychédélices would have sold, according Charts in France, with some 200,000 copies in the world. A score honourable but not transcendent frankly neither. In short. When the disc does not work, it must be live. And it should start next May 18 in Russia for a tour Psychédélices who lead them across the world, Asia, Europe, South America and ... the USA, Eldorado singers lolitesques.
Alizée, star in the States, is expected to see this ...

It was on a news article on RCA's website, so the assumption is its more true than not at this point.

Except for Moscow, Mexico, Belgium and France (like on her mySpace), nothing else is confirmed.

While I actually think we're more likely than some of the other counties mentioned by RCA, at this point the US is about as "confirmed" as Kazakhstan.

Those that don't know, France has some very specific laws concerning the photographing people with out their permission. It not like the U.S. where once your considered in a public place, the veil of privacy is tossed out the window. In France you can not take pictures of people in public with out their consent. The magazine will pay up with out much of a fight.

Alizée sues Voici

The young singer has complaints against the gossip magazine Voici, from whom she demands a 40,001 euro compensation.

Alizée and her husband Jérémy Chatelain are asking 40,001 euros in damages and interests: 20,000 euros for each of the two singers as well as one symbolic euro for their four year old daughter, who is also present in the accused pictures.

Voici claims to be stunned by this lawsuit, as the magazine says, "the two articles dedicated to the singer were full of praise." But apparently, the Corsican lolita and the ex-student of the Star Academy don't really appreciate being in good favor with the magazine...

Yep, thats why alot of American celebrities move to countries like France.

But it's good to know that she will be getting some extra coin because of the intrusion.

The ex-lolita wants to gobble up the world and generously spread her music across the entire planet. Thanks.

Alizée's new album Psychédélices has, according to Charts in France, sold some 200,000 copies worldwide. An honorable number but not really a triumph either. In short. When the CD doesn't work, you gotta do concerts. And this Psychédélices Tour , which should start on May 18 in Russia, will take her to a little bit of everywhere in the world, including Asia, Europe, South America, and... the US, Eldorado for lolita-like singers.
Alizée, a star in the US, we're waiting to see that...
