yeah this is much better performance for alizee than singing songs like hung up or love is all. i think she should stick to songs like these because it fits her voice much better.

In case anyone didn't know these are two performances done at separate times. Both have very good sound quality. The second one is from a DVD, which is still available online, but I've only been able to find it in France.

This is the only video I've ever shown people. Her voice is perfect for this, and she looks angelic and wholesome. I wish she'd do a whole CD and concert video of this style. And when I say "concert", I mean she could play this style in a small venue, and it would still work. Sadly, I think a small venue is all she could fill, considering the French won't turn out in droves unless she is shaking her booty. Maybe things will change, who knows.

Let's pay tribute to Serge Gainsbourg, the author and composer of this beautifull song...

Did that tribute ever come out on DVD from last year? I've seen the extended DVD quality clip/promo that had almost everything Alizee did in it, but never the final DVD.
